Galvanized light gauge steel is formed into C-sections to dimensions similar to equivalent wood 2x4s and other dimension lumber, and is manufactured under strict quality control.
Since steel framing is 1/3 the weight of its wood equivalent, wall sections can easily be carried and erected by two workers: an important factor in the ease of on-site assembly.
Insulating the walls
To the furthest extent possible, the houses are pre-cut and pre-assembled in panels to minimize the cost of on-site labor.
